As I sat for a minute to catch up on my "words with friends" games with Jess, Nick & Denise, I looked down to noticed that even my poor dogs needed a break.

I would now like to introduce you to my new best friends... ok, one is not so new. Yep, couldn't do it without them right now.

When I went in the backyard, I was so excited to see what was headed our way. Ever since I lived in Arizona & Nebraska and truly experienced some extreme weather, I can't get enough of it. The picture below shows what developed into a great thunder and lightning storm!

As I unpacked the kitchen, I am happy to say that we only had just a few casualties from the move. Everything else looked like it survived.

The best part if the day was that I was reunited with my kids. My wonderful sister-in-law, Renita, took the kids on Saturday and drove them out today. They arrived here at 11:30 pm. You would have thought it was the middle of the day with the way they were running around the house exploring!
Tonite our family is back together and safe in our new home. What more could I ask for?

And P.S. I need a smartphone so I can play Words with Friends, too. Is it on Facebook?
