The story of nap time

Ever since the move Cory hasn't had a good routine for his nap. Before we left Utah, we took down the crib and moved him into the bottom bunk bed. He has done pretty good, but naps have been the challenge because I can't trap him anywhere. Or so I thought...

Today I tried to lay with him on my bed. I couldn't get him to hold still at all. That was it. I took him in his room, got him settled in his bed, gave him a kiss and walked out shutting the door behind me. He immediately got out of bed and ran to the door and started crying. I had to hold the door knob because he now knows how to open doors.

It was heartbreaking to see his little hand poking under the door. I was talking to him trying to comfort him, but he was mad! Here's a view from under the door.

I sat for a while and held his hand, but determined to get him to take a nap.

Finally, after only 5 minutes he fell asleep. Success!! I love a sleeping baby.
