Today we took the kids for a hike up to Lake Catherine in Little Cottonwood Canyon. It was the perfect day...sunshine hiding occasionally behind clouds with 50 degree temperatures.
We stopped for lunch at the top and let the kids explore. They never complained about getting tired even though Brady fell asleep on Jared's shoulders on the way back down. There was so much to see with the leaves changing colors to deer and hawks overhead.
Crazy to think we were really only about 10 miles from home.

What beautiful pictures! You are so smart to include a slide show in your blog. Again, what an amazing age we live in!
Love ya,

Looks like a ton of fun. We have never done that hike, but we did have dinner up Big Cottonwood Canyon last night.
Gorgeous pics...we're so lucky to live here!
Beautiful pictures and I can see you had a great time.
I love that about Utah - that even 1 mile from home there's a little bit of beauty!
I LOVE this time of year...it's amazing how quickly the colors change.
Your kids are soo adorable!!
